SIZE

Label sizes of vintage garments are different to today’s clothing sizes. Sometimes they are not labeled at all.

This is why we measure all our clothes to give our customers the most accurate indication of size.

The sizes given as part of each item description are modern sizes and for guidance only - so that you don't go scrolling through for the full description only to find that the dress you are interested in is nowhere near your size. Each item for sale has its measurements included in the description. Please be sure that the garment you are buying is going to fit.

The sizes are based on the following body measurements, without clothes, as used by Marks and Spencer. The garments laid flat and the measurements doubled. Please allow an inch extra for ease of movement.
